Have you considered the benefits to your centre and students in undertaking an Extended Project Qualification?

Our Level 3 Extended Project qualification (EPQ) is a free standing qualification available to students in England. It provides students with an opportunity to carry out in depth study based on either their personal interest, a specific aspect of a subject they are currently studying or wish to study at university. This qualification enables students to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they acquire through dissertations, field investigations, artefacts or performance which are valued by universities.

The qualification carries a 50% UCAS points weighting as opposed to 40% for an AS level stand-alone qualification and can be included in your centre's curriculum alongside any subject.  The qualification allows students and teachers a large amount of autonomy in their choice of topic and approach.

In addition, we offer centres the option of using our free e-portfolio platform to submit their students' Extended Projects online.  It is simple to use and streamlines the administration for both teachers and students.
