Level 3 Mathematics for Work and Life (Core Maths)

Our accredited Level 3 Mathematics for Work and Life qualification has been developed in line with DfE's content requirements.

It will consolidate and build on learners’ mathematical understanding and develop further mathematical understanding and skills in the application of maths to deal with ‘real-life’ or realistic problems including:

Personal contexts with a focus on scenarios related to the individual, family or peer group
Occupational contexts with a focus on scenarios related to the world of work
Societal contexts with a focus on scenarios related to local, national or global communities
Scientific contexts with a focus on scenarios related to the natural world, science and technology.
