2019 NATE Conference proudly sponsored by Eduqas

21st – 22nd June | Crowne Plaza Hotel, Chester

We are delighted to be sponsoring the National Association for the Teaching of English (NATE) Annual Conference 2019

The conference will feature inspiring talks, workshops, seminars, discussions, literary readings and performances. It is an excellent opportunity to network with fellow teachers from across the county.

Meet our team

To discover more about our suite of English qualifications and our free online teaching resources, come and meet the team on Stand 1, who will be on hand to offer you practical advice and guidance.

Kirsten Wilcock – Workshop
As part of the conference, our Kirsten Wilcock, one of our subject specialists, will be leading an interactive workshop, ‘Getting writing right’.

In this session, Kirsten will look at practical strategies for developing writing across the key stages – whichever board you use.  A particular focus will be on the ways language works in successful narratives.

”We’re delighted to be sponsoring the NATE conference again.  It’s always good to meet teachers and learn more about developments in our subject.  It’s a lot of fun too!”

Hugh Lester, England Stakeholder Engagement Executive, WJEC Eduqas

The full programme of events is available from the NATE website.
