Reformed GCSE (9-1) in Sociology accredited

We are pleased to announce that our reformed GCSE (9-1) in Sociology has been accredited by Ofqual for first teaching from September 2017.

Developed in consultation with subject experts, our specification will nurture students' understanding and critical awareness of the social world around them.

Joanna Lewis, Subject Officer for Sociology,
"Students will be encouraged to explore and debate contemporary social issues to enable them to challenge taken-for-granted assumptions and to question their everyday understanding of social phenomena."
