
Become an AS/A level Drama Resource Author with Eduqas
We are looking to recruit individuals with skills and experience to write AS/A Level Drama resources, with attractive payment packages of up to £1,000 per unit available to successful applicants.
Responsibilities of authors:
Subject matter experts are central to the development of our resources. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- writing knowledge check activities to ensure that learners actively engage with the content
- writing revising material in line with feedback received
Writing content for the below topic areas:
Eduqas AS Level Component 2. Set texts:
- The Winter’s Tale William Shakespeare
- Rutherford and Son Githa Sowerby
- A Raisin in the Sun Lorraine Hansberry
- Father Comes Home From the Wars Suzan-Lori Parks
- Home I’m Darling Laura Wade
- Company Stephen Sondheim (2018 revival)
Eduqas A Level Component 3. Set texts:
- The Bacchae Euripides
- Blood Wedding Federico Garcia Lorca
- The Arsonists (The Fire Raisers) Max Frisch
- Death and the Kings’ Horseman Wole Soyinka
- Brief Encounter Noel Coward adapted Emma Rice
- Small Island Andrea Levy adapted Helen Edmundson
- A Monster Calls Patrick Ness
Experience needed:
- Teaching experience in the subject area
- Ability to write clearly and concisely for your target audience
- Previous resource writing experience
- Confident use of Microsoft Word
- Ability to pick up new skills quickly and apply them
- Ability to work to a tight deadline
