NEW Level 1/2 Vocational Awards now available to centres in Northern Ireland
We are pleased to announce that the following Vocational Awards (Technical Awards) have been accredited by CCEA Regulation and are now available to centres in Northern Ireland:
- Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Construction and the Built Environment (Technical Award)
- Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Engineering (Technical Award)
- Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Hospitality and Catering (Technical Award)
- Level 1/2 Vocational Award in ICT (Technical Award)
- Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Retail Business (Technical Award)
- Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Sport and Coaching Principles (Technical Award)
- Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Performing Arts (Technical Award)
These new qualifications are designed for 14–16-year-olds and offer:
- simple qualification structures minimising the number of assessments students are required to complete
- clear and straightforward specifications setting our what students need to know, understand and be able to do
- 60% non-examination assessment providing students with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, knowledge and understanding through practical and engaging tasks.
Each qualification is supported by compressive Guidance for Teaching and a range of digital resources.
