Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Event Operations
Our Event Operations qualification is the only Vocational Award approved in this category on the DfE 2020 Performance Tables for Key Stage 4.
The Department for Education (DfE) has confirmed that those qualifications approved for inclusion in the 2020 performance tables will also be included in performance tables for 2021 and 2022.
The WJEC Level 1 / 2 Vocational Award in Event Operations has been designed to support learners in schools and colleges who want to learn about this vocational sector and the potential it can offer them for their careers or further study.
Knowledge and understanding of the world of events
Develops ability to plan, run and analyse a specific event
Prepares for work in hospitality, sports, marketing and tourism events.
This qualification is on the DfE 2020 Performance Tables and contributes to the Progress 8 measure as one of the 'other' qualifications. View the 2020 list here.

We are delighted to announce that our Level 1/Level 2 Event Operations Specification A qualification now attracts Performance points in England. Specification A will be awarded for the first time in 2019.
