A level Components 1 and 3 Exemplar

Component 1 Speaking NEA
We are pleased to advise that from 2019 candidates be able to view the two discussion cards selected by the visiting examiner before making their choice for the assessment.
In addition, candidates choosing to re-sit the A level will be able to carry forward the marks awarded for Component 1 – NEA. For those wishing to re-sit this component it will be possible to use the same IRP topic providing that the original title is changed.

Spelling reforms in French
Eduqas examining teams are aware of the new spelling reforms in French and would like to reassure teachers and candidates that both the new and existing French language spelling conventions will be accepted in candidates' written work
Eduqas examining teams will use the new spelling conventions when writing the reformed GCSE, AS and A level French examinations, for first assessment in 2017 (AS) and 2018 (GCSE and A level); however, we do not expect to amend spelling in extracts from authentic sources.
