This book has been written specifically for the Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Engineering (Technical Award). The book has been written to enable learners of different abilities to access the skills and knowledge needed to progress and successfully complete the qualification.
Matt Wrigley has worked in education for over 20 years in Higher Education, Further Education and Secondary Education and has taught and delivered subjects including Engineering, Product Design, Construction and Graphic Communication. He is also working with the WJEC on the examiner committee, as a moderator, adviser/reviewer of Level 3 Engineering development as well as being part of the JCQ working group in the development of the new Engineering GCSE. Matt has also previously authored the textbook for the first iteration of the Engineering specification as well as developed resources that are used by numerous different centres.
