This book has been written specifically for the Eduqas Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Construction and the Built Environment course. There are two routes through this qualification; learners follow one route and study two units. Unit 1 is mandatory, and Unit 2 and Unit 3 are optional (this book is suitable regardless of the route chosen). The information contained within the book is appropriate for students of all abilities and covers the knowledge and skills they will need to progress through the course.
Gareth Wilkins has been a classroom teacher for 30 years, teaching a range of vocational subjects and Design and Technology. He has worked for WJEC/Eduqas for the last 22 years in a variety of roles including Principal Examiner and Principal Moderator. In that time, he has been responsible for specification development, writing question papers, delivering CPD and the production of resources.
